Kathryn J. McCormick Fairweather, 85, of Romansville, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph Terry Fairweather, Jr. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace Brittin McCormick.
 
Kathryn was a 1945 graduate of St. Agnes High School. She was employed, for over 10 years by the Bell Telephone Co. and later she worked, part time, at the Keystone Credit Union of Lionville for seven years.
 
She is survived by three children; James C. Fairweather and wife Mary of Romansville, Garry B. Fairweather and wife Elizabeth also of Romansville and Leslie F., wife of Ron Snyder of Lititz, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three siblings; Frank McCormick of West Chester, Grace Di Prospero of Kennett Square and Sara Richardson of Guthriesville. She was preceded in death by five siblings; Richard McCormick, Betty McCormick, Mary Grace, Nancy Wallace and Virginia McCormick.
 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, followed by interment at the Romansville Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8pm and also Thursday morning from 10 to 11am.
