Winifred M. Pinkerton, 91, of Allentown, passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital on Friday, July 10th, 2015 after a brief illness.  She was the widow of the late Paul E. Pinkerton, who passed away in 2003.  

Born in Caln Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ada (Gibson) Moore Conover and Harry L. Moore.  

Winnie grew up in Parkesburg and graduated in 1942 from Parkesburg High School.  During WWII, she worked at Lukens Steel in Coatesville, was married in 1944 and resided in Parkesburg until 1955.  She made dolls and handcrafts which were sold in gift shops and craft shows.  

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Berkowitz of Philadelphia and son Phil Pinkerton husband of Ann, of Allentown; grandsons Andrew (Tina) Pinkerton of St. Mary's, FL and Michael (Melissa) Pinkerton of Corona, CA; great granddaughters, Lilyanna and Kaleigh of Corona, CA; and sisters, Louise McKim of Ephrata and Kay (Robert) Barker of Oxford.

She was predeceased, in addition to her husband and parents, by her infant son, Thomas Paul Pinkerton and her brothers Herbert and Harold Moore.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Winifred's memory to either a Church or Charity of your choice.
