I was so very sad to hear the news of Mr. B's passing. It also brought back so many wonderful memories of growing up as best buds with Tam, fun times at Old Wilmington Road, not to mention some great trips on the boat, and too many memories to count here!

I will miss your dad, and I pray for God's presence and peace over you all as you work through this tough time together.

Love & Hugs -

Jill

I did not know Mr. Backenstose personal, but I had the honor to meet his daughter, Tammy. I was told once as a young girl, "Children are a reflection of their parents". That being the case I can only imagine what a wonderful man Mr. Backenstose was. There is a endless kindness to Tammy and when I found out her father was ill you could see the love and devotion she felt for not only her father but her mother as well. Tammy shows her love of life, friends and above all her family in everything she does. That is something that can only be taught by example and for that I would like to take this opportunity to say thank Mr. Backenstose for being the kind of father ever little girl deserves, and for helping to mold a woman I am proud to call my friend.
All my love to the family and friends of Mr. William H. Backenstose,
The Saldarriaga family in Colorado

My dearest Aunt Ethel,

I'm just learning of the passing of Uncle Bill and wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you, Tim, Tammy and Families. I carry fond memories of our time together despite living in Illinois. Uncle Bill had a way of making me feel special anytime we got together (no surprises here) and I so thank him for that.

I wish I could be back to show my love and support but I'm comforted knowing your Family will be with you. Celebrate Uncle Bill's wonderful life and do so knowing I am praying for you and Family as we mourm his passing.

All my Love........Ronnie
