I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is tough losing a loved one. I would like to give you some words of encouragement that helped me cope. A lot of people have been told things by others all their life and they believe what they are told just because they want to believe it and it sounds wonderful. What I would like to tell you though is not my opinion or my thoughts but God’s thoughts from the Bible, so please look at your Bible and see the truth. God promises that we will live again but it is not like what most people think. Please look at Revelation chapter 21 and verses 3 & 4 very closely. If you notice here it talks about death and pain being no more now ask yourself is there pain and death in Heaven? That scripture is talking about right here on Earth a kingdom that will be set up and ruled by Jesus that will rid mankind of death and pain, please look at Daniel 2 verse 44 and see that this is a real kingdom.
Dear Tiny, Susan and family,

I was so sorry to learn of Vernon's passing. I had just recently learned of his health issues and certainly did not expect to hear this sad news so soon.

We did not have much contact after high school, but what I have heard of Vernon's time spent with youth sports teams and his service to our country and his professional job, he certainly was a contributing member of our society. We can thank God for the lives he touched and that we had the opportuniy to know him.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead. May God give you Comfort, Strenghth and Peace as you remember fond memories of life with Vernon.

Chris, Andy, and Aaron:

I was very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Your Dad holds a special place in my heart. He always will. He was my basketball coach at St. Leo's starting in seventh grade. From that time until now, I enjoyed a lot of fun moments with your Dad. We became close friends and I continued to see him each year to work on his income taxes. He was a very dear friend to my Dad. I'll always remember and appreciate how he treated Dad like a brother. We just recently lost our Dad in July 2016 so that means a lot. Our family talked about the times that our Dad spent with your Dad and Mr. Drennen. Again, I am very sorry for your loss and I hope you are feeling the love and support of your family and friends at this time. Take care.
