Theodore L. Mason, 63, of Gap, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 29, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Betty Wise Mason with whom he shared 33 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Arnett and Bertha Smith Mason. 

An area resident all his life, Ted served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed for 38 years, by Quad Graphics of Atglen, retiring in 2005.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three siblings; Jay Mason and wife Pam of Coatesville, Patty Mills and husband Richard of Tallahassee, FL and Deliah Covinsky of Kansas City, MO. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. Visitation from 10 to 11am. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Hershey Medical Center, A190, P.O. Box 855, Hershey, PA 17033-0855.

Ted was a wonderful neighbor and friend.  He was gracious. He was always generous with his time.  He had a kind word for everyone.  We will miss him.

 Dear Betty,  My sister told me Saturday that Teddy had passed on. We were so sorry to here of your loss. Ted was always a lot of fun at Quebecor, he always made me laugh. We just heard today of Ted's homegoing.  Please know our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the weeks and months ahead.  Ken said Ted was one of the nicest guys he worked with and he always cared about everyone else.  He no longer has pain or suffering and we will see him again.  Praying for your peace and comfort.
