Robert Hilton, Jr., 85, formerly of Modena, PA, passed away on April 28, 2024 at the Pocopson Home of West Chester, PA. He was the beloved husband of Shirley Guest Hilton with whom he shared 66 years of marriage with. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Robert Hilton, Sr. and Mrytle Dehiser Hilton.

Bob lived in the Coatesville area all his life. He was employed by the City of Coatesville in the Maintenance Department for many years. Bob's hobbies included scrapping, walking around Coatesville, visiting his local restaurants which included Little Chef, and Famous Restaurant. Bob enjoyed spending time with his wife as well as the rest of the family. Bob also enjoyed the time he spent with his granddaughters either at the Downingtown farmers market playing in the arcade, or at The Strasburg Railroad.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three grandchildren Patricia, Kimberly and Stacey, five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Cody, Haydn, Bently and Tobias and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Barbara Jean Singleton and Debbie Lee Hilton, two grandchildren, Robert S. Hilton and Shannon M. Singleton and six siblings; James G. Hilton, Betty Smith,  Elizabeth Kosheba and Marion Wigginton, and two half-sisters, Dorothy Bianchi and Marie Shank.

Robert Hilton's family would like to thank Pocopson Nursing Staff and Willow Tree Hospice for their compassionate care.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery, 786 Oak Street, Coatesville, PA 19320 at 1:00 PM.
