Peter Horblinski, Sr., 92, of West Caln, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the husband of the late Clara V. Dean Horblinski who died in 2011. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alex and Catherine Heraluck Horblinski.
Pete was an area resident most of his life. He was employed at the former Modena Paper Mill for 22 years and later worked for 26 years at Luria Brothers in Coatesville as a crane operator.
Pete was a member of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Coatesville. He also belonged to a hunting camp in Lycoming County and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Peter is survived by four children; Peter Horblinski Jr., Brian Horblinski, Thomas Horblinski and Lois Shutters, one granddaughter Angie Horblinski and one brother John Horblinski. He was preceded in death by one son Alexander Horblinski, one grandson Harvey Shutters, Jr. and three sisters; Anna Leveille, Mary Chenger, and Janet Bireley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA, with a viewing from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Cemetery, Coatesville, PA.
