Paul E. "Bear" Trace, 68, of Glenmoore, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Donna L. Miller Trace with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Samuel Trace and Anna Kolback DiNunzio.
 
Bear was an area resident all his life and a 1965 graduate of the Scott Senior High School. He was employed by the Lukens Steel Company as a pipe fitter.
 
He was a member of the Brandywine Goddard Lodge #383 F&AM of Coatesville, the West Caln Sportsman Club and the Coatesville Moose Lodge.
 
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four brothers; Art Deck of Westwood, Bill Deck of Germany, Phil Trace of S.C. and Sam Trace. He was preceded in death by six siblings; Dorothy, James and Bob Trace and Ralph, Dick and Clyde Deck.
 
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10am to the time of the service. Masonic services will be performed at 10:45am, followed by a Moose service.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Chester County SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 (www.ccspca.org/donate) or Guide Dogs for the Blind, Donation Processing, PO Box 17068, Baltimore, MD 21297-0334.
