Nguyen Thi Kien "Kim" Bicking of Gap, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 22, 2019. She was the beloved wife of David G. Bicking with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Nha Trang, South Vietnam, she was the daughter of the late Nguyen Van Cao and Pham Thi Chuc.

Kim and Dave met and married in Saigon during the Vietnam War while Dave was serving in the US Army. She was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three children; Tom Bicking and wife Uyen Pham of Lancaster, PA, Debby Ann Bicking of Kinzers, PA and Rose Bicking-Egge and husband Michael of Lancaster, PA, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship United Methodist Church, 123 East Friendship Church Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320. Visitation at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kim's memory to the Friendship United Methodist Church at the above address.
