Mary Kathryn (Thomas) McLucas, 83, of Atglen, passed away on Friday January 4, 2019 at Harrison House Nursing Facility of Christiana. She was the beloved and devoted wife of Sherman McLucas with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Holsopple, Somserset County Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Emma Thomas.

Mary K. attended Conemaugh Twp High School in Davidsville, PA. She went on to drive tractor trailer for Allied Petroleum Marketers, Inc. in Wilmington, DE before driving school bus for the Downingtown Area and Great Valley School Districts for over 21 years and later worked for the Pa Turnpike commission before retiring in 2003.

Mary K. is survived in addition to her husband Sherman by four children: Roy McLucas of Atglen, Joy Green of East Earl, Diane Kay Johnni of North Wales, and Brenda Gay Tomlinson and husband William H. of Parkesburg. In addition to her children she is survived by one sibling Marlin S. Thomas and wife Mary Lou of Slickville, PA; 8 grandchildren: Elizabeth Johnni, Stephen Johnni, Kimberly Richards, Kelley Tomlinson, Sarah Tomlinson, Rachel McLucas, John-Paul Johnni, and Kassondra McLucas; 8 great grandchildren: Nicholas Oliva, Jordan Crabbe, Saydi Syphard, Tiras Crabbe, Darrell Shyphard, Eli Johnni, Adelyn Johnni, and Jakob Buel; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Robin Fay McLucas and three siblings Donald Thomas, Violet Cover, and Denton Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 11, 2019 at 2 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St, Parkesburg, PA, 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 1 PM until the start of the service.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

I can't believe your really gone! I miss you already. I'm driving myself crazy with could have should haves. But you knew I was doing good and trying to make things right that's what matters the most! Thank you for loving and never giving up on that little girl no one else seemed

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is too lose such a special person in life, I won't lie and say it gets easier because it doesn't we just learn to Cope with the pain. I am praying for you and the family. She was a very nice lady I was blessed to have met her,
