M. Elaine Olonovich

M. Elaine Olonovich, 83, of Westwood PA, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Brandywine Hall of West Chester, under the care of Compassus Hospice and Brandywine Hall staff. She was the widow of the late Albert G. Olonovich, whom she shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2005.

Born in Coatesville, Elaine was the daughter of the late Carolyne (Rice) and William Brown, Sr.

She is survived by two children: Linda J. Boyer, wife of Gary, of Brandamore, and Jeffrey A. Olonovich, of Westwood, his fiancée Karen Neuhauser of Parkesburg, ; two grandchildren, Gary Jr., husband of Alison, of Downingtown, and Justin, husband of Tamara, of Coatesville; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Everly, Moriah, and Jaden. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Albert G., Jr., a grandson, Jeffrey and two siblings, William (Bud) Brown Jr., and Carol Sluder, also an aunt, Delores Townsley.

Elaine was a homemaker most of her life taking care of her family and enjoying her grandchildren. She and her husband Al were long time members of the Westwood Fire company Auxiliary. Elaine enjoyed bingo, card games and other activities with her long time friends and neighbors.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 29th from 7 until 8:30 PM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg. The interment will be private.
