Rhonda,

You are one of my best friends and I have known you for over 25 years yet I have no idea what to say to you or how to help you. Please know that, that little guy touched our hearts and had us believe in miracles just in the short time that he was with us. I find myself thinking of your guys at different times during the day and hoping that you are finding your way through this. If you need ANYTHING please call me.

Love,
Dawn

Rhonda & family... it's been years since I've seen you (we used to be in homeroom together and had a couple of classes together in high school). Kim Eckman-Banta emailed me the obituary of your little boy and I am just so saddened by this and am soooo sorry for your loss. I just wanted to send my condolences to you and your family... you are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and I pray that you are able to find peace in the memories you did have with your son.

Thoughts and prayers, Rose Bicking-Egge

Dear Rick and Family,

We were deeply saddened to read of your baby son's passing. Please know that you and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of the Dilks' family. Over the years, we have thought of you many times asking the boys if they'd heard from you. Jim and I have many cherished memories of all of you kids back in the day in LAC. Like those memories, your son's will live in your heart forever.

Hey Rhonda,
It's been years since we chased around a lacrosse field together! Lifetimes, really. I have fond memories of those times, so it's been nice to say hello here and there in stores throughout the area. Becoming a mom changed everything for me in the last twelve years, so it's unnerving to imagine how losing a child would make the world tilt and whirl in unwelcome, uninvited ways. We haven't shared motherhood the way we shared checks and bruises back in the day, but I pray that you will feel supported through the loss of little Rex by the friends and family who go with you.
Thinking of you,
Kim

Rhonda -
I am sooo sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you and your husband. You will all be in my prayers. I know there is probably nothing I can do, but if you think of anything, a West Chester Univ girls night out, whatever it takes, please contact me. All you have to do is "yell" and Reb, Pokey and I will be there and I know that Renee would be in a plane in a heart beat.

Love you!
Leah
