Louella E. Ferri, 94, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, March 2nd under the care of Tel Hai Retirement Community.  She was the widow of Joseph C. Ferri, Sr., who died in 1981.  

Born in Orlando, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Della (Fox) and Jesse Cole.  She left W. Va., and went to Wilmington, DE during WWII, where she worked as a welder and eventually met Joseph.  

She retired from Pillsbury of Parkesburg where she worked as a line inspector.  

She is survived by her stepson, Joseph C. Ferri, Jr., husband of Doris, of Florida, son-in-law Ted Miller of Eugene, OR, two grandchildren, Dan Miller, husband of Sue, and Becky Miller, three great grandchildren, Jasmin, Colby, and McKenzie, two sisters, Hazel Riffle of Sutton, W. Va., and Phyllis Short of Coatesville and her special nieces and nephews; Patrick, Michael, and Christopher Short, and Michele, Pam, and John Przychodzien. 

She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Miller, her stepdaughter Caroline Pergine, and her sisters, Dolores ("Rose") Przychodzien and Juanita Stewart. 

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa., with a viewing from 10 until 11 AM.  The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked at Heatherwood and took care of Louella often. She was a great person and will be missed by all those who knew her.

I am so sorry for your loss she was a wonderful woman I really missed her when she left Heatherwood I visited her once She wanted to go home to the Lord no more pain and saddest I loved you Louella
