We did not know Lori, but reading her obit we knew she must have been a wonderful Wife, Mother, Best Friend. We hope this poem will help to ease your sorrow a little.
"Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting in the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away your tear,
For I am spending Christmas, with God, this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, my treasured one, you know I hold you dear,
And be glad I am spending Christmas with God this year.

I will ring the Christmas bell for you, that hangs upon your door
To let you know I'm with you, in your heart forever more.

Dear Mr. Xagas, Jordan, Cali and Danny,

Mr. and Mrs. Gill,

I was so saddened to hear of Lori's death. My memories came flooding back from Coatesville Catholic and Octorara High School and the wonderful times we had. I remember when Lori and I were cheerleaders for the Catholic boys basketball team, making our outfits, running through the snow and practicing in the basement of Our Lady of Consolation in Parkesburg. She will always remain dear to my heart. May you feel the presence of God's love as you go through this difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. I just remember a discussion I had with her -we were chatting about our children. She lit up with everything she said about all three of you. She was so proud of all of you. You were the lights of her life. I just know that she will be with you always. God bless you all.

As a neighbor and friend of Lori's for the past 3 years, she blessed our family with all of her help with our children. Whether it be medical advice or just lending a quick hand to help watch them; she will be missed. Her family are in our thoughts and prayers. Frank and I were very sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful daughter Lori. Please know that our prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

I write this rememberance of Lori and how we managed our way through nursing school at Coatesville and West Chester State. Lori always had her smile and laughed and told jokes. She enjoyed when I brought my sons Mathew and Brandan to our special events. Life brought it's challenges as we changed and grew. Lori becoming a wonderful nurse, wife and mother. We all appreciated the friendships both near and far. And now, as one more challenge is before us, Lori is still smiling, laughing and telling jokes. It is with fondest regard that I remember all the beautiful things that Lori gave us. And know that she is still there. With my best wishes to you all at this time of challenge. I remain a friend. I am so shocked and sorry to read this. Having moved from the neighborhood, we are out of the loop. I remember your daughter so very well especially when Danny would play with my own boys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours during this time. I am so very sorry that I am not there to see and talk with all of you personally. WE will always have fond memories of the kindness all of you bestowed upon us as we were neighbors for many years. We love you all and I know your devotion to Our Lord will get you and yours through this major challenge. When we get down, I will stop to see you.

I never ponder the what if's and the whys in life, but appreciate all the time I have been allowed to know the people who mean the most to me. You are my friends and will always be and with the strength of Rebecca will be able to survive and think beautiful memories.
