Larelda M. Lowery, 78, of Pomeroy, passed away on Sunday, July 12th under the care of Neighbor Hospice in West Chester. She was the widow of the late Horace Lowery with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Pomeroy, Larelda was the daughter of Anna (Schulmeister) and Rufus McLaughlin.
She was a member of the Pomeroy Methodist Church. She volunteered in the Pomeroy Fire Co. Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Larelda was an Avon representative for over 30 years.
She is survived by one daughter Penny A. Killian of Coatesville, one grandson Mick Killian and wife Rachael of Honey Brook, two great grandchildren; Kaedin and Avri and four siblings; George, Charles and Fred McLaughlin and Arlene Dalmas.
She was predeceased by siblings Robert, Clyde and Lucy McLaughlin.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery. The viewing will be from 10am until the time of service.
