Kevin James Kimbro, 66, of King of Prussia, formerly of Ardmore Oklahoma, passed away at ProMedica Skilled Nursing Facility on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Kermit James Kimbro and Merlyn Thoinette Erickson.  

He attended Del City High School and went on to honorably serve our nation in the United States Navy. He later worked in the traffic department for the City of Oklahoma where he was employed for over 25 years before retiring.  

Kevin cherished time spent with his family and was a loving Dad and Grandfather.  

He is survived by three children: Krystal Kimbro of Coatesville, Christopher Wayne Kimbro of California, and Isaac James Kimbro of Colorado. Additionally, he is survived by two grandchildren: Tyren Johnson and Elijah Kimbro, and one sibling: Kyle Kimbro of Parkesburg.  

He is preceded in death by three siblings: Karen Shaw, Kim Wheeler, and Keith Erickson.  

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Krystal, Kris, and Isaac, I'm so sorry Uncle Kevin has passed. I love you allnand am praying for peace for you. Uncle Kevin was one of a kind for sure.

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Kevin's passing away. We remember having Bible Studies with him in Mustang, of visitations with him and much more. He was fun and loving. He will definitely be missed. Our love extends to all his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
