John P. "Jack" Pavelik, 79, of Wagontown, passed away on Sunday, May 1st, 2016 at Brandywine Hospital. He was the widow of Patricia Pavelik, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Marie (Hamm) and John Pavelik.
An area resident most of his life, he was employed by the former Lukens Steel in the Fuel and Electronics Department.
He had belonged to First Baptist Church of Pequea and attended Calvary Monument Bible Church.
He is survived by his two grandchildren: Amy Womack and Paul Philpott, both of Louisville, KY; and three great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Philpott.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 6th, 2016 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Pequea, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, PA followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. The viewing will be held at the church from 10 until 11 AM.
