John N. MacDougal, Jr., 49, of West Caln, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Beth Ann Owens MacDougal with whom he shared eight years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of John N. MacDougal, Sr of Maryland and the late Faye Johnson Mattson and stepson to Fred Mattson of Honey Brook.
John was an area resident all his life and a 1988 graduate of Coatesville Area High School. He was employed by Pac Strapping Products of Exton, PA.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Brittany Greiner of Downingtown, Justin Owens and companion Becky Pratt of West Caln, Joshua Owens and wife Caitlyn of Abington, MD, six grandchildren whom he adored; Gabriella, Brayden, Rylee, Keegan, Ryder and Layla and two sisters; Tammy MacDougal Collins and husband Rodney of West Caln and Lisa Mattson and husband Joe Owens of West Caln and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Methodist Church, 123 E. Friendship Church Road, Coatesville, PA with visitation at the Church from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
