Obituary

John Frank Garzia, 85, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Life Care Hospital in West Chester.  He was the husband of Abby Steidler Garzia, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.


Born in Malvern, John was the son of the late Frank and Anna Garzia.

He served honorably in the US Army Air Force during WWII as an airplane mechanic.

He was employed by Conrail as a clerk.

John was a member of the VFW, Keystone Eagles RC Club, AOPA and the Wild Goose RC Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Marcella A. Burns of West Chester; three grandchildren and four great, grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his grandchild, Jessie Burns and great grandchild, Anneleigh Butler.

The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
