Jack will be greatly missed. He was the backbone of our Predator '96 soccer team. His fatherly guidance to players and parents was always evident. His favorite topic to chat about was always his family and the new beautiful grand daughter whose picture was always at the ready on his cell phone. Our family is praying for your family.

He was enthusiastic, kind, encouraging, generous with his help, and treated everyone with respect. We will miss him very much. You can be proud of your father/husband/brother/grandpa, and that is a great gift. My heart goes out to you, and you have my deepest sympathy.

I was shocked last night when my son related the very bad new about Jack’s passing. Jack Simpson was a great man. I came to know Jack when our sons Eric and Tom started playing soccer together in grade school. Jack was always a warm and friendly fellow parent. Mr. Simpson was always giving my son Tom tips to improve his soccer skills. I used to truly enjoy my conversations with Jack on the sidelines during practices and matches.
Being Jack played ice hockey in high school, I have thought of him a number of times watching this winter’s Olympics. It is a real shame such an up beat, helpful, respecting, warm, likeable and productive man had to pass so soon. Fortunately, for all of us his great genes have been passed on.
Jack will be missed greatly.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers and with your family during this terribly sad time. I wish there was something that we could say or do to ease your pain. Please find some comfort in knowing that Jack was an incredible man. He was so kind and funny and fun to talk to. Sarah loved him and Geoff got to know him and enjoy his company during Penn Fusion soccer games and during our quick snacks, etc. Jack was always there for you when traveling - either to offer carpooling, driving the girls, getting snacks, etc. He was a very supportive father and spoke lovingly about his entire family. He kindly lugged our Sarah along to his sister's house in Florida when the team was down there and always told my husband and I how he loved to hear her play the piano. We missed seeing him after the girls left for college. With our sincerest and heartfelt sympathy, the Armato family

I am saddened and shocked to hear of Jack's passing. He is a childhood friend and truly one of the good guys. Matter of fact, he is one of the best of the good guys. Our neighborhood looked up to Jack...always the tallest...Always kind and a gentleman even back then. Memories of us "knocking up" for Jack, Mrs. Simpson answering the door and saying "Jackie, your friends are here for you!" will always be in my mind. The march continues on to the other side. We WILL all be together again one day. To the Simpson family ... you are all in my prayers. To Jack ... rest in peace until we meet again.

Hal
