Joan E. Thompson, 75, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Honey Brook Township, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Edith Killian Thompson.
Joan was an area resident all her life and a 1963 graduate of the Twin Valley High School. She was employed by Pepperidge Farm of Downingtown for 42 years retiring in 2011 as a line production worker.
She is survived by one sister Rhoda Thompson and one brother Thomas Thompson both of Honey Brook, four nephews, one niece, three great nephews, three great nieces and one great great niece. Preceded in death by one brother Norman L. Houck, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11:15 AM at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery, 360 James Street, Honey Brook, PA 19344. To protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing at the service.
