Jess Czetli Sr., 91, formerly of Parkesburg, PA passed away at his home in Clayton, DE on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. He was the widower of the late Phyllis I. Czetli, who died in 2006.
Born in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Steven and Julia Denke Czetli. From 1943 to 1946, Jess served honorably with the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was a graduate of the Hower Vocational School in Akron, Ohio and was the former owner and operator of Czetli and Sons Machine Shop in Parkesburg, retiring in 1983.
He is survived by three children, Jess Czetli Jr., of Lancaster, PA, Steven Czetli of Clayton, DE and David Czetli of Smyrna, DE, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother Ernest Czetli of Grand Rapids, MI. He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA, followed by interment in the Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 10 until 11 AM.

I am sorry to hear about Jess Sr. I learned a lot from you guys when I was working there. Even some of the odd projects like rebuilding the tractor and forklift. Those are precious memories for me. I did not see anything in the paper or I would have been there.
