Janet Louise Flahart, 77, of Cochranville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father after a lengthy illness on April 1, 2016.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Sara O. McCauley and Hayes T. McCauley and was the foster daughter of Emma and Andrew Weaver of Quarryville, PA.
She attended Solanco Schools with the class of 1956 and worked at the former Tidy Sewing Manufacturing Company, Quarryville, PA.

A homemaker, she had a very strong faith in God as a Protestant. 
Janet's interests included gardening, puzzles, games of all kinds, sewing, collecting dolls and Elvis Presley memorabilia and spending quality time with family and friends. 

Married to her husband of 56 years James E. Flahart.  She is survived by her children Karen L. Flahart, James E. Flahart and wife Joan, Eric A. Flahart, companion of Suzanne Taylor, Deborah L. Flahart and Stephen M. Flahart all of Cochranville, five grandchildren, Eric Lee, Nicole Lynn, Rebecca Sue, James E. and Nathan Cole Flahart, one great grandchild, Seth and her siblings, Richard, husband of Lydia McCauley, Petersburg, NJ, Robert, husband of June McCauley, South Seaville, NJ, Ruth, wife of the late Kenneth Schlotzhauer of Malvern, PA, Betty Anderson of Paradise, Judy McClenagan companion of Rich Bauer, of Manheim, Sandy Kight, wife of Dave Kight of Lancaster, David Mast of Cochranville, Joyce Weaver married to Bob Willard of Christiana, PA, Joanne Weaver married to John Lowe of Oxford, PA and Linda Weaver married to Roger Boughton of Goldvein, VA.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Joseph and Donald McCauley. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Riverview Burial Park in Lancaster. Viewing from 10am to 11am. 
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the National Parkinson Foundation

What Fond Memories I have of Janet & Her Family as we were Neighbors on the same Streets A couple times ...Lol Down Town & then out of Town.. You became back door neighbor to My Parents & I used to walk down with My Little ones which You always enjoyed seeing . You were a kind Loving person May U RIP...
