James A. Pegler, Sr., 59, of East Fallowfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was the loving partner of the late Brenda E. Owens, with whom he shared 25 years of his life.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late James and Catherine Pegler.
James was retired from Schramm of West Chester, where he had worked for 22 years. James served honorably in the US Army and the Army National Guard of West Chester.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Timothy S. Pegler, wife of Debora, of Downingtown, Barbara, Jimmy Jr., Holly and Jennifer all of South Carolina; stepchildren, Bobbie Jo Taylor, Beth Owens MacDougal, Joseph Owens, Michael Owens and Susan Santiago, all of Chester County; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his siblings, Patty Stone, Lois Forsythe, Dale Pegler, Edward Pegler, Billy Pegler, Denise Pegler and the late Joanne Boscelle.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Saturday 21, 2012 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365. Interment will be private. The viewing will be held from 10 until 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home.
