James Dean, 66, of Sadsburyville, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Ida Guest Dean, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.  
 
Born in Ridley Park, Pa, James was the son of the late Florence Clark and Joseph J. Dean.
 
He served in the US Army.
 
James worked for Ideal Products in Malvern as a Press Operator. 
 
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his three stepchildren: Jonathan Strogan, husband of Denise, of Parkesburg, Sheri Ostroski, wife of Mark, of Coatesville and Yuvonne Hern-Carr, wife of Richard, of Sadsburyville; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and one brother, William Dean, husband of Ann, of Chichester.
 
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 11 AM at the Kings Way Independent Church, 55 Morris Lane, Sadsburyville with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.
 
Arrangements by the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.  
 
Donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home to help defray the funeral costs.

We are thinking of the Dean family now,there are no words that can truly comfort you, but just let the thought that James , knew the Lord as his savior, that one day we will see him again, ontil then we will morn his passing and celebrate his life. God bless you all Walter & Helen

We've known James brother Bill for a long time and just wanted to send our thoughts and prayers out to the entire family. Mike actually does computer work for Ideal Products in Malvern and knows the hard work that he has surely put in, we just haven't crossed paths.

James is in a good place now and no longer suffering from the tough year he's had. May you rest in peace James Dean and thank you for serving our country.

Dear Aunt Ida,

I am sorry to say that I did not find this out until today when something told me to check before sending any Christmas cards.  There is not much that I can say especially at this late date but that my heart goes out to you as I had lost Ron in September of 2012.
