Irene G. Patton

Irene G. Patton, 90, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Hickory House Nursing Home, Honey Brook, PA. She was the wife of the late Carol E. Patton, Sr. who died in 2003. Born in Mountain City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hollie Henderson Owens.
Irene was an area resident most of her life. She was a member of the Pomeroy United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one  son, Carol E. Patton, Jr. of Coatesville and companion Betsy Lodge, one daughter, Pidgie Steiner of Prince Frederick, MD, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one sister Sue Pluck of Honey Brook, PA. She was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Pomeroy United Methodist Church,  P.O. Box 68, Pomeroy, PA 19367.
