Glenn Bliss McQueen, Sr., 73, of East Fallowfield, PA, passed away at his home on Wednesday May 15, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Norma Hilton McQueen with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Downingtown, PA he was the son of the late Edwin McQueen and Evelyn Mercer McQueen.

Glenn grew up in the Village of White Horse, Lancaster County where his parents owned and operated the White Horse Inn for many years. He was a 1968 graduate of the Pequea Valley High School. He was employed most of his life by Pacer Pools of Downingtown, PA.

 Glenn had a strong love for playing country music on his guitar. From the early age of 8 years old, he was learning songs from his favorite country singers such as Hank Williams Sr. and George Jones. He attended all of the Counties annual country/bluegrass festivals for many years.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; Shawn M. Hilton and husband Ira Cook of Collingdale, PA, Glenn B. McQueen, Jr. and wife Andrea of Pequea, PA, four grandchildren; Darshan Hilton, Ashlee Cook, Jocelyn McQueen and Kroy McQueen, three great grandchildren; Joliena Tanner, Aaliyah Hilton and Keilani Hilton and one brother Edward S. McQueen, Sr. and wife Elizabeth of New Holland.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by burial at the Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to the time of the service.

Norma - I am so sorry to read of Glenn’s passing.  He was the highlight of my tax season I will miss his FB posts and the crazy conversations we had over the years. I feel like we are family.  I am praying that God will comfort you through this difficult time. If you need anything please reach out to me.  He was a special person and blessed us with his music.  God Bless
