Eugene Forsythe, 63, of Morgantown, PA passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehab, Reading, PA. He was the widower of the late Rebecca Elaine Farris Forsythe who died last year. Born in Chester County, he was the son of Sara Elizabeth "Betts" Miller Forsythe of Berks County and the late Millard Leroy Forsythe, Sr. 

Eugene was an area resident all his life. He was employed by Republic Services of Morgantown for over 35 years retiring in 2016. 

He is survived, in addition to his mother, by four children; Christopher Forsythe, Sherri Forsythe Price, Robert Forsythe and wife Tara and Jamie Forsythe and fiance Nick Rovensky, two stepsons; James Powell and Brian Powell, 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four siblings; "Chip" Millard Forsythe, Jr., Cindy Przybeck, John Barton Forsythe and Dorothy Elizabeth Forsythe.

Gene can't lie when you came into my life wasn't too sure about you but then you grew on me and you are by far the best father a son could ever have thank you for everything u did for me I'll never forget it LOVE U..............

Well it took me a little while but you would just say I was slow lol but you and i had a fighting relationship always at each other trying to out talk the other and who had the best comebacks. Mom said it was because you loved me lol so now I get the last word old man ill never forget your kindness and giving heart you had you both did a lot for me and always helped me out when I needed it although you would never admit I know you loved our conversations I kept you on your toes and that is what ill miss love ya dad tell mom hi and give her a big kiss for me and that i miss her verry much
