Divina M. "Baby" Dayawon, 69, of Parkesburg, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Thursday, May 9th, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Born in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines.

Divina was the daughter of the late Aurelia (Molina) and Apolinar Dayawon, Sr.  She was a widow of Boromeo Marasigan  

She graduated from Lyceum College with a double major in political science and foreign service.  She was employed by the Parkesburg Boro as an assistant secretary.  

Divina was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic minister.  In 2010, she became a fully professed Franciscan Secular at St Peter's Church in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.  

Divina was a world traveler.  

She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Sherill and Maria with husband Stephen, and four grandchildren: MakaylaRichard, Cameron, Annabelle; and siblings Purita, Mike and wife, Dulce, Apolinar Jr., Zenaida, Cristina and husband, Jim, Raymundo and wife, Lydia, and Nicolas and wife, Karen; as well as many nieces and nephews  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 17th, 2019 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by burial in Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Parkesburg.  

The visitation will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.

To the family and friends of Divina, and all who knew her and will always love her... I want to offer my deepest, sorrowful condolences for your incredible loss. We know that God has decreed for us all to be here for a term... yet the heartache of having to bid farewell to our beloved departed soul, Divina, is so very much to bear. May God comfort you all through your trust and faith in Him and all of His encompassing Wisdom and Mercy. Amen...

My deepest sympathy to the bereaved families of Divina. Rest in Peace Divina. I have only known you for a short period here in Deboarah Heart Lung and Center/ I remebered you as a nice and kind hearted person. You always have that beautiful smile. God bless you.
