Anne E. Sabo Reshey, 93, of Coatesville passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Mays Landing, N.J. She was the widow of the late Andrew R. Reshey, who passed away in 1995.


Born in Coatesville, Anne was the daughter of the late Steven F. and Mary K. Sabo. An area resident her entire life, she was a 1937 graduate of the Coatesville High School. She was employed by Cardinal Cottons as a Traffic Manager, retiring in 1977.


She was a member of the Polish American Ladies Auxiliary and the West End Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.


Anne was a parishioner at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and a member of the St. Joseph Woman's Club.


Anne is survived by her four daughters: Connie Sushinski, wife of Max, of New Jersey, Andrea McLucas, wife of Gary, of Coatesville, Julianne Lasak, wife of Richard, of Delaware and Maryanne Illes - Rever, wife of Frank, of Coatesville; 40 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Matekovic,


a nephew Joseph Matekovic, Jr., grandson Jeffrey Scott McLucas and a great grandson Brandon Christopher Cain. 


 


The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 404 Charles Street, Coatesville, PA 19320 with a viewing from 8:30 until 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery of Coatesville.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to the Lamancha Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 656, Unionville, PA 19375.

Fred & I were saddened to hear of the passing of Anne. I am so thankful that I got to get to know her once again in recent years after finding my long lost friend Maryanne..... We will be lifting your family in prayer at this time, knowing how hard it can be to lose a loved one.
