Alan P. Mittelman

Alan P. Mittelman, 71, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center of West Chester. He was the beloved husband of Salome M. (Smoker) Mittelman, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage.

Born in Atlantic City, N.J., he was the son of late Ethel Robin and Edward Mittelman.

Alan had a Master's Degree in Social Work and worked at the Coatesville VA for 38 years.

He enjoyed taking care of his property and his land.

Alan is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two children: Alyson Mittelman Stone, wife of Robert,of Los Angeles, Ca. and Edward Mittelman, husband of Angela, of Exton; his grandson, Wyatt Caln Stone; and brother, Daniel Mittelman of Cherry Hill, N.J.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.
