William K. Lonsinger Sr., 70, of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at St. Martha’s Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Downingtown. William was the beloved husband of Lynne Lonsinger with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.

Born in Bristol, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Charles D. and Edith S. (Lynch) Lonsinger. 

William was a graduate of Henderson Senior High School. Following his formal education, he went on to work at Lukens Steel for 31 years as a grinder before transitioning to a management position in the sporting goods section of the Parkesburg Walmart.
 
Outside of work, William enjoyed fishing, crabbing, NASCAR races, and watching the Philadelphia Flyers. 

In addition to his wife William is survived by four children; Leslie Ely and husband Patrick of Parkesburg, William K. Lonsinger Jr. and wife Natalie of Strasburg, Cynthia Manning and husband Alan of Parkesburg, and Wendy Nellius and husband Roger of Atglen. Additionally, William is survived by seven grandchildren; Ciara, Kelsey, Alexis, Austin, Madelynne, Aubree, and Tyler; three siblings, Lance Lonsinger, Sr. and wife Barbara of Coatesville, Linda Cockerham and husband Barry Sr. of Malvern, and Patricia Allen of Kirkwood. He was preceded in death by both his brother C. David Lonsinger and his grandson Patrick Ely Jr.
 
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Lynn and the entire Lonsinger family,
