Anna Simpson Tyson, 89, of Milton, DE, formerly of Coatesville, died on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Delaware Hospice Center of Milford, DE.  She was the beloved wife of the late Harold L. Tyson, who passed away in 2017 after they shared 66 years of marriage. 

Born in Coatesville, she was daughter of the late Anna E. (Shoemaker) and Harvey Simpson.She was a Bell, and later Verizon Switchboard supervisor for over 50 years.  She was a member of the Coatesville Bible Fellowship and also the West Brandywine Card Club.  

She is survived by five children; Beth Klink and husband John, of Georgetown, DE. Jana Viguers of Milton, DE. Craig Tyson and wife Karen of Coatesville, Timothy Tyson and wife Teresa of Mountain Top, PA and Chad Tyson of Parkesburg, eight grandchildren; Allyson, Brian, Abigail, Aaron, Indigo, Adam, Chad Trae', and Jahleel.  She was precededin death by her siblings, Robert Edgar Simpson, Paul William Simpson and Harvey Simpson, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM  at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 W. Main Street, Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery.  The viewing will take place from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Shriners Hospital, 3551 North Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19140.
