John H. Seymour II, 66, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at his home.  

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Ruth (McCannon) and John H. Seymour.

He was a 1966 graduate of Coatesville.  He worked at Reading Railroad, Conrail and Septa.  

He was a member of V.F.W. of Parkesburg, Masons and the Parkesburg Methodist Church.

John is survived by one daughter and two sons; his grandchildren; and siblings, Martha Coszella, wife of Sam, and Charles Seymour, husband of Doris Ann.

The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 27th at 11 AM at the VFW, 406 W. 4th Ave., Parkesburg with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Parkesburg VFW, 406 W 4th Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365 or Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA.

John you will missed by many, many people. We knew that you were suffering and now you are at peace in the Lords abode. I hope the ones truly suffering the most at your loss will be given the peace of the lord. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.

My friend John, You will be missed. You have given me lots of memories that I will always remember. I will miss your pick me up calls from the deli, the runs to Wal-mart, the cigerette stops and other stores.The laughs that we shared  will always make me laugh.  The chance to meet your sister Martie, who will always be my friend.  The thankfulness that you were in church every Sunday for a year and you were given a pin for doing that.. Thank you for so much John.  Love you and Rest in peace My friend John.

I'll never forget the year, Gary Casey made you play Santa Claus for our family Christmas Party! A memory I will treasure for the rest of my life. You are a good man , fly to Jesus! May God give us all the peace and comfort you need at this difficult time.
